Biosketch

Dr Konstantinos Raftopoulos received his degree in Physics by the National Kapodestrian University of Athens in 2003. In 2005 he received his MSc in Energy Production and Management and in 2011 his doctorate diploma, both by the National Technical University of Athens.

He is mainly active in the study of structure-property relationships in nanocomposite polymeric materials and especially molecular mobility in organic-inorganic hybrids. His research interests include also the study of hyperbranched polymers. He mainly employs differential scanning calorimetry (conventional and temperature modulated), dielectric relaxation spectroscopy and thermally stimulated depolarization currents.
